Brahma Descended! Awoken Machine Noah Farming Team

* One God Killer and three God Killer on Machine Noah, or two God Killer each
* Mega Ilm can be replaced by any Light card with 2 or more SB and one VDP to help when Brahma uses his 50% damage reduction and not getting skyfall match and less Light orb enhanced when using Yusuke.
* Artura can be replaced with Mega Awoken Kali if you have her.
* Satan Void on Lu Bu is to prevent over-healing when getting too many heal match skyfall
* Hakuryu Card can be replaced with CIEL equip or Spirit Ally, Kororo but it's best to use either Hakuryu Card or CIEL equip sicne they give stat boosts to Demon Yusuke
* Sakura Matou can be replaced with any card that has natural tape resist such as Kuroyuri
* Reincarnated Acala is there for her 3 SB and Time Extend to make combo on Agni easier
* Mega Blodin can be replaced with Kirito or his equip. It's probably better unless rng trolls you by only giving less than 6 water or dark orbs
* Those Weatherlight equip actually helps to defeat Green Carbuncle when not getting skyfall match. They're not just for skill protection
* Kazuma Kuwabara is perfect to defeat Delgado. His skill reduces Delgado's defense to 0 while giving you light orbs. Hakuren from Shinrabansho Choco Collab can also be used
* Qilin is perfect to defeat Krishna since she also makes Water orbs. Fujin can be used but if you don't have any Water orbs on board, it might ended your run
* Chocolate box can be replaced with Mel but I find it easier when heal column is placed at the right most column instead

First battle
Use Machine Noah. Since heal orbs aren't matchable, the team will stays at 50% HP. Without orb enhances from Weatherlight, it's not enough to kill the Green Carbuncle when not getting skyfall match. I've tried.

Second Battle
Now we need heal orbs to make FUA. Artura's skill brings back the unmatchable orbs so we can make FUA. Scheat provides necessary orbs to defeat Sakuya. Make sure heal column doesn't have 2 or more heal orbs connected to it

Third battle
doesn't matter if those hazard aren't resisted. Use machine noah and match the bomb if they're getting on the board. This is actually borderline dangerous when getting too many heal match skyfall. That's why I have Satan Void assisted Lu Bu.

Fourth Battle
Agni needs 8 combo. Use Mega Blodin and make 6 or more combo. Mega Blodin changes Heal to light so the chance for healing is minimalized

Fifth battle
Use Kazuma Kuwabara on Ilm to defeat Delgado

Sixth battle
Use Qilin and make water TPA. Agni has more than 60 million HP so having those god killer on Scheat and machine noah helped to defeat him with only one tpa combo

Boss battle
Brahma has 50% chance to have either 50% damage reduction or damage void shield. When he has 50% damage reduction, his HP shoots up to 1.2 billions. Demon Yusuke needs to reach at least 118,500,000 damage to defeat him. It's easier when he has damage void shield. Use Chocolate Box, Lu Bu and Demon Yusuke. Depends on the spinner's placement (it's random), wait for the right moment to make your move. the spinners rotates every two seconds so time it perfectly to make your move.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Brahma Descended! Battle of Waifus versus Husbando! Valkyrie-CIEL Solo Run

A new descended dungeon called Brahma Descended. This is actually a way to get evo mats needed to perform a new evolution of Reincarnated Lakshmi, from Reincarnated to Super Reincarnated Evolution. Lakshmi needs Brahma's gem that can be obtained by exchanging Brahma (evo form) into gem. All materials needed to evolve Brahma are there, running parallel with Brahma Descended to ensure that you can get Brahma's gem. He can drop his gem in his dungeon but it's very rare.

To clear this dungeon, I will be using my trusted Valkyrie-CIEL team like this:

  • Leader is Valkyrie-CIEL, Dragon Killer Super awakening, three dragon killer latents, Hakuryu card equip
  • First sub is Kyoyama Anna, FUA super awakening, three devil killer latents, Trojan horse equip
  • Second sub is Aerith, super time extend super awakening, Fujin assist
  • Third sub is Yuna, super bind proof super awakening, three dragon killer latents, Sheen's Ornament equip
  • Last sub is Eir, tape resist super awakening, Uroboros Tattoo equip
  • Friend helper is Valkyrie-CIEL, god killer super awakening, three dragon killer latents, Hakuryu card equip

AT first, I was using Valentine Venus instead of Yuna, thinking that I might need her guard break for Delgado. What I didn't realized was I don't have all attributes present on my team so her guard break can't be activated. I was able to defeat Delgado even without guard break but I got less enhance multiplier since I was using Sheen. With Yuna on the team, I get more enhance multiplier. I need big enhance to defeat Brahma who has 600 millions HP.

First floor is two Carbuncles. One Water and one Wood Carbuncle. They both have 24 and 25 millions HP respectively. The Water Carbuncle will prevents heal orbs from being matched for 3 turns while the Wood Carbuncle will seal the bottom row for 3 turns. Having a tape resist really helps here.

Second floor is Reincarnated Sakuya. She has fairly low HP at 10 millions HP but since heal orbs aren't matchable at this point (if you one shot all Carbuncles), you have no way of making any FUA. I had to stall some turns until heal orbs can be matched again. I have to be careful not to match light combo to prevent damage Sakuya too much. When you dropped Sakuya to 1 HP without making FUA, she will binds awoken skill for 8 turns. Even though I have Anna to erases that awoken bind, I prefer to save Anna for later use and just damage control Sakuya.

Third floor is Diena. He will spawns three locked bombs, jammers and mortal poisons so having at least full poison resist helps a lot. He's a dragon type so it's easy for my team to defeat him.

Fourth floor is Agni. This is the same Agni that can be found in Alt. Three Hands of Fate with 7 combo shield so you need to make 8 or more combo for your damage to gets through. He has 68 millions HP and is a God/Attacker/Devil type. Usually, making 8 combo is enough for most modern team to defeat him.

Fifth floor is Delgado. He has very big defense at 50 millions HP. He only have 1 millions HP but he also puts up 90% damage reduction for 99 turns, making his HP goes up to 10 millions. In order to penetrate his defense, any card needs to reach 60 millions or more damage. Having relevant killer helps a lot. He's a Balanced type so having Hakuryu Card, CIEL weapon or Spirit Ally, Kororo can boosts the damage.

Sixth floor is Krishna who has 60 millions HP and will absorbs damage of 8 millions or more for 99 turns. I hope you bring any Fujin-type active skill unless you want to stall his 99 turns of damage absorbs. Remember Hanuman? All Indian Gods seems getting messy mechanics aren't they? If your Fujin isn't ready, you can stall some turns on him. He doesn't hit that big.

Boss floor.
Brahma has 600 millions HP. Pretty big. He is a God/Balanced type so once again having Balanced Killer awakening or equip comes in handy to defeat him. He has two skill sets as preemptives. One is having damage void shield for 4 turns and erases any buffs while the other is 50% damage reduction for 4 turns (making him has 1.2 billions effective HP) and will do 99% gravity. A fixed preemptive is spawning four spinners on random location. Those four spinners are grouped together so if you want to set them up, it can be done easier.

I had to stall for 4 turns waiting for either his damage void or damage reduction shield to wears off while chipping his HP. When his damage void or damage reduction wears off, he will cast 7 combo shield and no-skyfall match for 4 turns. Luckily I have all necessary skills ready. Five heal orbs presents to make FUA, some Light orbs to attack, Sheen enhance is ready and +2 combo from Uroboros Tattoo also ready.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Ra Pochacco's Power Level is Over 9000!

After successfully clearing Alt. Arena, Alt. Bipolar Goddess, I tried to take a crack at the hardest dungeon in PAD, Alt. Three Hands of Fate. Will my team be able to clear it? Let's find out!

My team is like this

  • Leader is Ra Pochacco, Super bind proof super awakening, Fujin assist
  • First sub is Super Sakuya, Tape resist super awakening, three dragon killer latents, Akantor mutilator equip
  • Second sub is Valkyrie-CIEL, god killer super awakening, three dragon killer latents, Emperor Thundersword equip
  • Third sub is Odin Dragon, physical killer super awakening, Light spear, Gungnir & Asgard hat equip
  • Last sub is King of Heroes, Gilgamesh, 10c super awakening, two god killer & 1 dragon killer latents, Tifa's crystal equip
  • Friend helper is evo Akine, super poison resist super awakening, Noctis' crystal equip

I was using almost the same Team as my AA run, with the exception that I gotta have full poison, blind, tape and cloud resist. AA2 has one enemy (Lilith) that will super blind all orbs for a number of turns. Having full blind resist is very helpful and recommended. One enemy (Rei Sirius) will casts multiple turns of 2x5 block of clouds so it's best to have cloud resist. Azazel will put a tape on the board on the top and bottom row for 4 turns. It can be stalled out but it's best to just having a tape resist.

Got close to clearing it so many times but the problem with rainbow team on newer dungeon is that most bosses have damage void and making VDP while matching all attributes and heal is very hard. Add FUA and it's almost impossible to have a perfect board with five heal orbs, all attributes presents and 9 orbs of one attribute to make VDP. That's why skill such as Akine, Hao or Shelling Ford is very much needed for rainbow teams.

Of course with my team only have one skill that voids damage void shield, I had to manage it wisely. Akine's skill is 30 turn CD so if I use it on Dragon Callers floor, it's almost impossible to stall on the Numen floor to get Akine back up. The Norns can be stalled out but if I got Skuld, it's dangerous because she can do leader swap first before hitting for 82k+ damage. Very dangerous for a team without built-in shield.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

GungHo Collab #3 Title Screens

Akine Meets Her New Plushy

The new addition to the Dracoblade series sure are very strong leaders. 7-Magic Stone Super Godfest was the initial release for them in PAD NA. Their base form are the equip version, just like their predecessors, with Leader Skill. Usually, any equip form doesn't have Leader Skill. Not with Dracoblade series. The evolve forms are much stronger in terms of leader skill although some of them have questionable normal awakenings with the exception of Ina.

One particular Dracoblade that I want to write about is Akine. She is a rainbow leader, needed to match all attributes and heal for maximum multiplier. With new enemies and bosses now all have damage void, that has became a problem for rainbow team. Making VDP while matching all attributes is hard. Very hard. Not to mention if you need to make FUA as well. This can be solved with Akine's skill. Her skill voids damage void shield for 1 turn and change all orbs into all attributes and heal. Beware that in normal 6x5 board, her board change won't guarantee five heal orbs to make FUA so take that into consideration. Her skill cooldown is very long at 30 turns, but luckily she has one Skill Charge awakening to make it comes up faster. I wonder why GungHo doesn't give Akine two Skill Charge like Reeche.

I don't have Akine but I see that I have compatible leader to pair with her in the form of Ra Pochacco from Hello Kitty Collab. Ra Pochacco Leader Skill is "2x HP & RCV for Fire and Light attribute; Orb move time +5 seconds; 7x ATK when attacking with 5 attributes at once"

Akine's Leader Skill is "1.5x All stats for God type, Orb move time +3 seconds; ATK increases when attacking with 3 attributes (2+ heal), up to 20x ATK when attacking with all attributes and heal"

When I pair Ra Pochacco with Akine, my team will have 3x HP & RCV, 210x ATK multiplier on full activation when attacking with all attributes and heal. That's a pretty strong team and able to heal back to more than half HP after taking gravity with only three heal orbs. No built-in shield though so need to make sure that my team has enough HP to tank some of the big preemptive hits.

This is my team:

At first, I was trying a different team setup and run Alt. Three Hands of Fate. I was so close to clearing it but I screw up big time on The Norns floor. Then I try the exact team in Alt. Bipolar Goddess. Made it to Kali but the lack of enhance and shield active on Kali resulted in game over screen.

So I tweaked my team a little bit and running it again in Alt. Bipolar Goddess.

Maybe I'll try running it again in Alt. Three Hands of Fate. I think I don't need VDP subs for Alt. Three Hands of Fate since I could grind the Dragon Callers. Only the Numen Kings needs Akine's skill and I could stall out The Norns damage void shield since it's only 5 turns.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Fresh New Fish, Super Cold Amberjack

We have two new evolution of an old card. One is Super Gunma while the other one is Super Cold Amberjack. Both are annoying to evolve. For this time I want to write about Super Cold Amberjack.

It has decent ATK multiplier while Super Gunma... well, its leader skill is crap. I can't see why anyone wants to use Gunma in the era of Tardis, Aerith and many more 1 turn CD card with more powerful awakenings and stats compared to Super Gunma. Super Cold Amberjack, on the other hand, has 1.5x all stats to Physical type (2.25x to all stats for double Amberjack leader), 8x ATK when attacking with Fire, Water and Light at the same time, for a total of 144x ATK multiplier if you're counting the 2.25x to all stats. He only accept Physical type known for their big HP. The only drawback is that most Physical type has crappy RCV so healing could be challenging even with 2.25x boost to RCV. Thankfully Amberjack skill can really help when it comes to healing especially after taking gravity. Amberjack doesn't have built-in shield so its team will take full damage from gravity.

Its skill heals the team for 50% HP while changing unneeded orbs into either fire or water without touching Light orbs. Pretty powerful skill if I must say. It's fast too at only 11 CD.

Now the problem with fielding a team for Amberjack is that many of the good Physical subs comes from either 6* Fest Exclusive or 6* Collab. Both are hard to get. I'd say Amatsu, Blue Cotton and Reincarnated Idunn & Idunna for most attacking power. Revo Idunn & Idunna is very good in Amberjack team because they also have RCV buff built into their skill while also providing enhance for 3 turns. They have decent RCV for Physical type, double TPA and 7c and able to use God Killer latents.

For VDP job, Mega Awoken Blue Odin can be a good VDP sub although his skill will most likely useless since he erased Light orbs needed to activate Amberjack full ATK multiplier. Pixel Yda is also a good VDP. The other alternatives comes mostly from FF collab such as pixel Squall or pixel Tidus. Not that many card has two VDP though.

For this particular run, I opted for this team:

First I don't have neither Amatsu nor Blue Cotton. I'm tempted to change my dupe Green Cotton into Blue but I think I'd go with Fire Cotton when I decided to change her evo. Nees has great HP and awoken bind clear but her skill erased needed orbs for activation. That's why I put Sephiroth as an assist to act as a back up without changing any orbs. Awoken Tachibana Ginchiyo is good too. Nice awakenings and firepower with double 7c, has great skill with board changing. Her only flaw is that she isn't bind proof. Reincarnated Idunn & Idunna is without a dub an MVP for my team while the last sub, Moogle is a versatile utility with very low CD as a Fujin carrier.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Aqua Challenge! Teams of 4 or Less

We have another sets of challenge dungeons. This time featuring water-attribute enemies as the final bosses. Starting with the easy one such as Zeus Mercury Descended then the difficulty goes up until the top difficulty: Lindworm Descended. However, we can only do this one in Solo mode. No multiplayer allowed, and we have to run the dungeon in 4 teams or less restriction, so we can only have three subs.

For Lindworm Descended, having Artura is such a big help. Lindworm will have resolve but he has a preemptive to make all heal orbs unmatchable for one turn. This is where Artura's skill comes in handy. His skill voids unmatchable orbs for 5 turns so I can blast and one shot Lindworm with the use of Artura's skill coupled with other skills.

Having a cloud resist also important because Thor will face you before Lindworm. Thor will casts a 6x2 block of clouds for one turn while having a 5 combo shield. Sure you can navigate the board without having cloud resist but it's troublesome.

What if you don't have Artura? You can stall the unmatchable orb since it's only one turn but beware that Lindworm has annoying skill sets. From 8 combo shield, tape, cloud and absorbs random attribute for one turn. He doesn't hit too hard especially if you run with 4x HP team but make sure you have subs with heal OE to make healing a breeze so you can find the sweet spot where he doesn't absorbs attributes your team have the most.

The second one is Noah Dragon Descended. It's similar to her own dungeon. 5 battles and Noah Dragon has damage void shield and will absorbs random attributes for one turn. Her skill sets is pretty annoying although she's pretty safe to stall provided you don't do heavy damage on her. When she's at >90% HP, her skill sets will always absorbs random attributes for one turn (will always absorbs Light or Dark and one of Fire/Water/Wood) and bind one sub for one turn. When you pushed her to lower than 90% HP, she will casts a 75% damage reduction shield for one turn and starts hitting you hard.

Back when A3 was the hardest Arena and we have no VDP, people used to stall her damage void shield (a 99 turn of stalling!). Sure you can do that but who are willing to stall for 99 turns nowadays? Just bring VDP subs that can take either God or Dragon killer latents and a kill board. Depends on your team you might or might not need an enhance. All the other enemies before her is pretty easy.

The next one on the lower difficulty is Herme Descended. Pretty easy dungeon although it's quite long at 10 battles. All enemies are dragon type so have your dragon killer subs ready! The important thing is to have a full poison resist so you can one shot Herme without having to deal with her poisons and/or awoken bind.

Then we have Mion Descended. I found this pretty interesting because I never tried to one shot Mion while her 99% damage reduction shield is still on before. Now that I have decent dragon killer team, I decided to give it a shot. Sure she doesn't have that many HP with only about 12 millions but her 99% damage reduction shield makes her HP shoots up to 1.2 billions of effective HP. If you can't one shot her and can't erase at least 1% of her HP, she will greatly reduced your move time and throws a 5 combo shield up. If you failed her combo shield and she's still at >99% HP, she will puts up damage void shield of 500k or more for 5 turns. I think it's best if you just try to one shot her, or have a big nuke or gravity to get her below 99% HP first turn so she won't put up her damage void shield. If you can get her below 99% HP first turn, she will only puts up a 50% damage reduction. Should be easy from there on.

As usual, I will try to complete this challenges with Valkyrie-CIEL team, and I'm gonna do the top difficulty first then move down to the lower ones.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

September 2019 Quest Challenge Level 10

This month's Challenge Level 10 is pretty challenging with all the messy mechanics the enemies throws at us. Name any annoying enemy skill sets and they're all there. Spinner, hazard skyfall, skill delay, RCV debuff and of course damage voids. It's also a pretty short dungeon. Only 7 floors and not that many safe place to stall for skills.

I'm not going in blind for this one. It's quite hard so I want to be prepared. I decided to use Edward Elric for this one. This is the team that I will be using:

  • Leader is Edward Elric with Uroboros Tattoo equip and 7c Super Awakening
  • First sub is Aerith with Light Xuanzhang assist for RCV buff
  • Second sub is Pixel Paladin, Cecil with Trojan Horse equip and 7c Super Awakening
  • Third sub is Servant, Rider with Skill Boost Super Awakening and Valkyrie weapon equip for Light OE
  • Last sub is Demonkin Yusuke with Trojan Horse equip, three Machine Killer latents and VDP Super Awakening
  • Friend Helper is Edward Elric with Akantor Mutilator equip and 7c Super Awakening

First of all, if your team doesn't have HP and RCV multiplier, you will need to have an RCV buff skill. There are two enemies that will decreases your RCV to half. Not that healing is very important but the boss, Awoken Machine Noah will try to buff your RCV to 300%. If you still carry RCV debuff, Machine Noah will hit you instead and it could end some team without HP multiplier like mine.

Hazard resist is important as usual, at least poison resist because there's an enemy that will hit very hard if there's a poison on the board. Having full blind resist also helps a lot since there's enemy that will super blind some orbs.

You will also need a VDP sub that can carry Machine Killer latents or has natural Machine Killer awakening. FUA is without question a must have.

First enemy is actually helps you. PAD Academy Athena will triple your move time for 10 turns, but she also will create one spinner on random location for 10 turns. The spinner rotates every second and it can help you getting the orb you wanted.

Second enemy is Dill Sirius. He will super blind some orbs for 4 turns. If you don't have blind resist you'll spend a lot of time checking every blinded orbs and memorizing their location. He doesn't have any noticeable HP so he's very easy to defeat.

Third enemy is Kotodama. 5 turns of skill delay followed by changing all orbs into all attributes, heal, jammer and poison. If you don't have poison resist and there's some poison on board, move them to the spinner to change them because Kotodama will hit hard if there's poison on the board. You'll spend time moving those poisons into the spinner so having a full poison resist can save you some time.

Fourth enemy is Kaede. The same Kaede that can be found in A4 and AA2. You can stall some turns on her. Make sure there are one or more heal orbs on board. On her first turn, she will hit you and change those heal orbs into Wood. When you don't have any heal orbs on the board, just make one combo on the top. If there's no heal orbs on the board, she will fully heal you on her second turn. After that, you can to defeat her.

Fifth enemy is Nut. 50% resolve, and has move time reduction preemptive. If you still have move time buff from Athena, she will hit you instead. She also has a preemptive that changes heal orbs into Jammer. You can blast her without making FUA because her first turn will always be spawning some bomb orbs, hit you and reduces your RCV to half, then you can kill her after.

Sixth enemy is Drawn Joker who has damage voids shield and will halved your RCV. If you still carry RCV debuff from Nut, he will hit you instead. He's a Dragon/Devil type with 50 millions HP. Make VDP and defeat him immediately before he has a chance to hit you with gravity and changing your leader to random sub for 3 turns. Here is why I have RCV buff skill, so that his RCV debuff doesn't affect my team, and it also acts as a shield for Machine Noah.

The boss is Awoken Machine Noah with reduced HP compared to her own dungeon. Instead of 800 millions, here she has "only" 622 millions HP. Still pretty big. She also has 50% resolve. If you're familiar with her skill sets, she will changing your maximum HP to 500,000 as preemptive. She will also try to erases any buff you have. When she can't she will hit you instead. This is why I brought RCV buff skill so that Machine Noah has a buff to erase. Her second turn move is triple your RCV and hit you with 46k damage while changing some orbs into heal. This is my kill window. Here I'm using Edward's skill to fully heal my team and to provide 3x enhance for Light attribute. Then I will use Pixel Paladin, Cecil's skill to creates Light/Dark/Heal board. Should be perfect to make FUA and VDP. His skill also has +1 combo attached. A 7 combo with VDP disassembled Machine Noah into scrap.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

September 2019 Quest Challenge Level 8 (Fixed Team)

This month's Challenge Level 8 should be easy if you're able to utilize what they have given to us to use. Leader is Halloween Xiang Mei. Her Leader Skill is "1.5x HP & 2x ATK for Devil Types; 3x ATK with 2 heal combos, 4.5x ATK with 3+ heal combos." Similar to regular Xiang Mei we had back then (Challenge Level 8 as part of monthly quest with fixed team).

This is our team:

This time they gave us odd subs. Sure they are all Devil type but their awakenings and attributes are all over the place when an optimal Xiang Mei team should've been a mono dark team. Turns out, they gave us those subs for a reason. I'll tell you later. Read on.

First battle is pretty straightforward but there's a preemptive hit that also hides all orbs. Moving them will reveals them. Not having blind resist is kinda annoying but it's manageable. You can sweep this floor with 2+ heal combo coupled with 6 or more normal combo. The left enemy has decent HP for this team to handle that's why we need to make 6+ combo with two of them are heal matches.

Now the second floor is interesting. Both Tsukuyomi Tamadra has 600,000 defense and 22 HP while the DMeta Tamadra has 50 millions defense and 20 HP. How to kill them if the team can't even break 10 millions damage? FUA is the answer. Each subs has FUA awakenings. For one FUA (heal column) match, one sub will deal 1 true damage at the end so if you make one FUA, your team will deal 4 true damage at the end. To defeat those Tamadra, especially DMeta Tama (she will kill you on the second turn), first we need to make two FUA. That's 8 true damage at the end. Use Xiang Mei or Paimon if you lack heal orbs. You've gotta have at least 10 heal orbs on board. Tsukuyomi Tama can be defeated by a mass attack of Light orbs. Paimon has attribute advantage over them so he only needs a little more than 300,000 damage to penetrate their defenses. If you can't kill DMeta Tama first turn, don't worry since you will defeat her even with normal combo but it has to be an attack of multiple attributes so all subs can contribute to the damage.

Moving on, third floor looks quite hard. It has Nene with her 8 combo shield. We need to make 9 or more combo with 2 of them a heal combo. Sounds hard? Cthugha can provides +2 combo with his skill. Nene also has quite a lot of HP so we need to use Lu Bu's enhance (4x for Devil type for 2 turns in exchange for reducing HP to half). Make sure that you have 7 combo with two of them heal combo on board before using Lu Bu and Cthugha.

Last floor, the boss is pretty easy. You should save Sonia for this. She changes the board into Fire, Dark and Heal orbs. If you have bad board with only a few heal orbs, you can use Xiang Mei or Paimon. The haste from Cthugha should at least bring either Xiang Mei or Paimon to be ready. Make FUA, another heal match and match the rest of the board and you will defeat Goemon. We still have enhance from Lu Bu so even with minimal combo (5 or less with two of them are heal match and one of the heal match is an FUA), the team should be able to defeat Goemon.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

September 2019 Quest Challenge Level 9

September 2019 Quest Challenge Level 9

This challenge dungeon is hard. Very hard. Not because the enemies have hundreds of millions of HP, but because each floor has nasty big preemptive hits. Starting off with a total of 49k damage on first floor and it's getting worse for each floor after that. The boss, DQ Hera, has 338k preemptive hit!

There is, however, a way to cheese this dungeon using Fat Chocobo as leader. He has 2.5x HP for Light attribute. With double Fat Chocobo lead, your team has 6.25x HP. But he has no ATK multiplier, so how do you kill those enemies? The popular strategy is to use a very strong counter-attack. Only Lotta Lotta and Vivi has strong enough counter-attack to end those enemies with their own attack.

Field a team of high HP Light attribute cards, sub in Whaledor for the Skill Boost, have a 75% shield active skill and true damage of 50,000 or more for first floor.

First floor's enemies only has less than 50,000 HP. So, the run for Fat Chocobo team is like this:
Have necessary skills ready: 75% shield, true damage and counter-attack
use 75% shield and counter attack first, then true damage
when you kill first floor, the second floor will hit with big preemptive but since almost all enemies only have less than 2 millions HP, the counter-attack will killed them
then you move to the next floor, rinse and repeat without you doing nothing

you need a big HP though. At least 383k HP leaving first floor to survive the dungeon.

What if you don't have Lotta Lotta of Vivi?

Don't worry. Counter-attack isn't the only method to defeat this dungeon. I made a monstrous HP Yuna team like this:

A total of 6 active shields, four 50% from both Yuna and two 75% from Reincarnated Indra. My team has 320k HP and with heal TPA and some decent combo, my team could recover a lot of HP.

My team, however, lack one skill boost and I used 15% HP badge for this so Yuna won't be up first turn. I can only use Yuna's shield on the second floor, after taking some big preemptive hit. The trick is to heal up enough so that you could survive the next preemptive hit. Cycle the shield active skill. Use both Yuna and when I got to the sixth floor, I use Reincarnated Indra's 75% shield. With decent healing, I was able to soak all the damage including 338k from DQ Hera.

For me, this is more fun and challenging compared to running it with counter-attack team. Slower though. It's up to you whether you're gonna run this with counter-attack or a "normal" team.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Emerald City's Star Treasure - Valkyrie-CIEL Meets the Forgotten Deity

We got a new dungeon meant to be a source to get a lot of +points called Emerald City Star Treasure. Similar to Treasure of the Night Sky, this new dungeon consist of 6 floor where the last floor (the Boss floor) is a low HP King Woodsie instead of King Shynee. The "real" boss is the fifth floor. This is a "Solo-only" dungeon so no multiplayer allowed.

There are, however, some annoying mechanics found in the dungeon such as spinner, awoken bind, blind, clouds, locked orbs and of course enemy that spawns Poison and Jammer. If you're willing to farm this, you'd have to prepare for all of them, especially awoken bind and clouds. Those are the most annoying one. Besides, you'd want to spend the least amount of time in this if you're gonna farm it for +points.

How many +points will we get upon clearing? It's random. Ranging from +77 all the way to +177. It may sounds good but consider the 99 stamina to run this, you'd be pissed if you drew the shortest stick and ended up getting only +77 or less than +99. That's worse than Star Treasure of the Night Sky. I don't think I'd want to farm this for +points. I'd rather wait for the Super +Points guerrilla dungeon instead. Much faster, can be buttoned and yields more +points for the same stamina if you're doing it in multiplayer.

For my first run, I did with Valkyrie-CIEL team:

I have full blind, poison and jammer resist but I didn't count that there's enemy that spawns clouds. Doesn't matter though since I won't be running it again. Maybe if I don't have anything to do I'd run this again with Shazel or Cruz who has cloud resist in place of Pralinae or Hunter-CIEL, and took Apocalypse out for a poison resist.

I didn't run into the enemy with cloud so I got lucky. The boss is Australis, a God/Machine type with 100 millions HP and 75% damage reduction for 2 turns, making him has 400 millions effective HP. Get those God Killer subs moving! Australis will casts a locked orb skyfall and no-skyfall buff for 10 turns when he has lower than 50% HP. He will buff himself to have 500% attack when he has more than 50% on his first turn. His next attack after will most likely end most team's run with 149k damage.

With those many things to sorted out, I don't think it's worth farming this for the +points. Just get your stone reward and move on.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Rokks Descended! Maximum Effort Veroah Farming Team

This is a PAD RADAR guerrilla (Limited-time) dungeon, the fourth of five dungeon sets. I don't have any idea why they didn't add them to the LTD in-game button. You will have to check their Facebook, official web, Reddit or PADX for the time of each dungeon. It's troublesome but it is what it is

Each dungeon consists of three difficulties: Annihilation, Mythical Plus and Mythical. You will get one magic stone upon clearing all difficulties. The reward goes into your mailbox so don't be alarmed if you didn't get a stone immediately upon clearing. Check your inbox for the reward

This time, it's Rokks Descended, and I'll be doing it in multiplayer with a farming team like this:

  • Mega DMeta can be replaced with Sheena, Lajoa, or any Dark attribute full board changer (bicolor or tricolor) that makes a lot of Dark orbs
  • Red Sonia is important since I need her skill to make Fire/Dark board. The only other option other than her is Barbara, Sonia Another or Chibi Sonia. Count your SB carefully if you're using something other than Pyroguard Sonia.
  • Pixel Shantotto needed for her Dark Row awakenings and she can carry Physical Killer latents. Can be replaced with any Dark card that can carry latents or has natural Physical or Attacker Killer awakenings, and has at least two dark row.
  • Zuoh and M.Bison equip are necessary in case Rokks swapped leader with something that has no relevant Leader Skill such as Whaledor. Those dark row equips are very helpful to boost the damage against Rokks
  • Hunter CIEL can be replaced with anything that can clear a minimum of 5 turns awoken bind such as Green Odin and his equip, Jhoira and her equip etc.
  • Sheena can be replaced with any Dark card that makes bicolor or tricolor board (bicolor are easier) such as Lajoa, Dark Meimei, Planar, Halloween Nene, Armored Batman (Film) etc.
  • Laude can be replaced with any multi-turn +combo skill. I only need +1 combo on the boss but having +2 combo helps a lot when I got bad board from Sheena. Asakura Yoh equip, Noctis' Crystal, Asuna and her equip etc
  • It's important to have full Blind Resist but not Jammer Resist. I need those locked bombs from Rokks so Jammer resist is out
  • Any necessary skills on Team A has to be used as sub and has assist with more than 10 turn CD so that when being skill delayed, the base skill will still be available.

First floor is an Attacker/Physical type enemy with 270 millions HP. Preemptive strikes re nasty. 10 turn skill delay followed by super blind half the board. He also has 50% resolve, making things more complicated. Luckily he doesn't have status shield so poison works against him.

Here I'm using DMeta's board and make 5 or more combo with one dark row. If I got bad board from DMeta? I can use Pixel Shantotto to fix the board. Guaranteed to have one Dark row.

Second floor is an Attacker/God type enemy with 255 millions HP. He will bind awoken skills for five turns, then hitting for 59k+ (unshielded) damage. Since I have 60k+ HP and built-in shield, reducing my team's HP to 80% with DMeta skill still allows me to survive that.

Here I'm using Hunter CIEL to clear awoken bind, Sheena followed by Laude to guarantee that I will have 5+ combo out of Sheena's board (can't do nothing if Sheena only creates less than 6 dark orbs) and Hashihime enhance.

The boss is very nasty. He will swap your leader to a random sub for 8 turns. I assume worst case scenario that he swapped to sub without relevant Leader Skill so I can only rely on Hashihime enhance and Team A's Dark Row awakenings to defeat Rokks.

Rokks will creates 6 locked bomb orbs in specific location. This helps a lot since I can use his locked bomb orbs. Here I'm using Sonia board followed by Veroah to convert Fire to Dark, so now I have only Dark and 6 locked bomb orbs. Just make a VDP and +2 combo skill from Laude made that into 6 combo, enough to defeat Rokks.

Rokks seems fun for someone familiar with color cross. His awakenings are pretty good with three TE and FUA. Active skill is unique too. His equip has SBR and Jammer resist so if you're looking for SBR equip, this is great to have.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Zebun Descended! Maximum Effort Veroah Farming Team

This is a PAD RADAR guerrilla (Limited-time) dungeon, the third of five dungeon sets.

This time, it's Zebun Descended, and I'll be doing it in multiplayer with a farming team like this:

  • You can replace Caster with any sub with at least 1 SB
  • You can put Time Extend skill on Caster or whoever replaces her if you're not comfortable with halved move time
  • Two Archdemon Lucifer seems overkill but I need his 3 SB and dark row for the enhance. If you don't have Hashihime, you can replace one Lucifer with Whaledor and use Carat enhance.
  • Superman is just an assist carrier with 3 SB and 3 Light Rows to boosts Hashihime enhance. You can use Whaledor if you don't have Hashihime and using Carat instead.
  • Anna Kyoyama can be replaced with Jhoira and her equip, or something that can clear multi-turn bind (base Ceres and Amaterasu, Valkyrie-CIEL etc)
  • Pixel Shantotto can be replaced with any dark sub with Dark Row awakenings and VDP.

First floor is a Physical/Devil type enemy with 195 millions HP and 50% resolve. He will binds all subs for 10 turns followed immediately by skill bind for 10 turns. It's important that when some or all subs are bound, I still have 100% skill bind resist from both leaders and Team B's subs.

He doesn't have any status shield so I can apply poison on him to take care of his resolve. Satan void followed by Servant, Assassin and swipe. Next floor doesn't have any preemptive hit (except when he can't cast time debuff) so I'm okay with having only 1 HP.

Second floor is an Attacker/God type enemy with 210 millions HP. He has a preemptive of absorbing Fire/Water/Wood damage for 5 turns and halved move time for 10 turns. Doesn't matter. Two Lucifer is enough to end his life. Satan Void + Servant, Assassin, Hashihime enhance and swipe. You can put a Time Extend active skill on Caster if you're not feeling comfortable with halved move time.

The boss doesn't have any preemptive hit so again I'm okay with having only 1 HP. He does, however, casts a 60%(!) of Mortal Poison Skyfall for 1 turn. It's very deadly so if you're using non no-skyfall lead, bring something to overwrite his poison skyfall, or use a no-skyfall active skill.

He's a Devil/Attacker type who has 600 millions HP and took half damage from Dark attack. That's why I brought two subs with VDP since I can't be bothered to overwrite any latents on Ieyasu. Enhance from Hashihime is pretty strong allows me to one shot Zebun with Satan Void coupled with Awoken/Reincarnated Acala skill.

Zebun is okay for a farmable. Needs 25 skill ups to max skilled. Leader Skill is hard to activate given that he's a 4 seconds leader requiring matching Water & Dark in L formation while doing  5+ combo, but his equip is kinda neat with two blind resist and one Light Damage resist.

Skill is pretty good for Dark team. 15% Dark orbs Skyfall for 3 turns and strong poison on a 12 turn CD. I suggest making one max skilled equip and one not max skilled. Lv.1 skill is pretty long at 37 CD so it's rarely that it will come up if you're just using it for the blind resist.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!
