Nergigante, the unwanted 7-star MH Collab takes on Alt. Arena - Alt. Bipolar Goddess

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

Any highest rarity collab card should be good, right? Else, no one would want to roll many times on the collab machine. This Monster Hunter Collab is loaded with many 7-star cards, the highest rarity, but somehow people only talking about Black Dragon, Fatalis. Considered to be the strongest card from the MH Collab due to very high ATK, powerful offensive awakenings, rather easy to play supported by 4x HP and built-in shield. Would that make the other 7-star rarity bad? Well, not exactly "bad" but it sure made the other 7-star cards looks "ordinary" compared to him.

That shouldn't be the case. So this time I'm gonna try to give a shot for Nergigante, one of the "unwanted" 7-star MH Collab. It's true that I didn't get Fatalis but I won't nuke my box to trade for him. There are many cards capable of doing what Fatalis does even with more effort and requires some specific subs to shine.

For this run, I'm prioritizing high HP and decent RCV for team building. Nergigante's Leader Skill is:

"4x ATK and reduces damage when HP is 50% or more; 4x ATK for Attribute erasing 5 orbs including enhanced"

256x ATK multiplier for double Nergigante lead with 57.75% shield just by staying above 50% HP. Pretty strong. Shield is similar to Edward Elric and Servant, Saber. My choice of subs are:

  • Investigation Pursuing Dragon Caller, Nees. She has very high HP, her active skill is perfect for Nergigante and I'm giving her Enhanced Combo (7c) awakenings with Super Awakening so she has two Enhanced Combo awakenings. She has Sheen's Ornament assist for enhance.
  • Reincarnated Tsukuyomi. His skill clears awoken bind, enhanced all orbs and provided 5 seconds of additional move time for 3 turns. His main appeal is four Time Extend and some Dark OEs. I'm giving him L-Unlock Super Awakening. She has Awoken Nohime assist.
  • Old Castle Illuminating Dragon Caller, Myne. She's a Descended card, bind-proof, has very short CD skill (1 turn when max skilled) and has two Team HP+ awakenings along with some hazard resist. She's more of a support sub since she doesn't have offensive awakenings. She carries Fujin assist.
  • Flame of Darkness Master, Hiei. He's my main source of damage for the team with three Enhanced Combo (two from regular awakenings and one from Super Awakening) and VDP. His skill also provides 99 turns of Dark skyfall while creating a row of Dark orbs. He carries Kralice Rapier for poison resist.

My Nergigante has King Bradley's weapon for poison resist and friend's Nergigante has Reincarnated Orochi assist.

I'm using HP++ badge. My team has 58,230 HP. Pretty big and the team is able to stall some turns due to strong shield and the ability to heal back to stay above 50% HP.

I'm actually having a hard time finding a helper but luckily my other account pulled Nergigante the first time MH Collab coming to NA PAD so I didn't have to keep refreshing the game looking for helper.

Of course I had failed runs, only this time I only failed four times. Much fewer compared to my failed runs with Hunter-CIEL. My failed runs comes mostly from my own stupidity and nervousness. One failed run due to facing Starling and Sopdet in the same run. Even though I'm putting Fujin assist on Myne with her 1-turn CD skill, it's just not enough turns to stall so that Fujin is ready by the 12th floor (Sopdet's floor). Both Nergigante also have two God Killer, making it difficult to damage control. Only one match of 3 dark orbs heals Sopdet instead of damaging her.

On my successful run, I'm getting lucky with some spawns. There are no Starling and Sopdet, no Goemon when I wasted Nohime's shield and unable to kill Sphinx. There's Dark Izanami though, my most hated spawn in Alt. Arena simply because she halved orb move time, has a resolve, making poison and jammers and locking all orbs every few turns. Luckily I managed to stall for Yomi to be up and killed her. Also, there's no DQ Hera when I accidentally killed Sevenzard. I was praying for Light Metatron and Light Kali but I guess the game was trying to test me with Dark Metatron and Dark Kali instead.

I should put God Killer on Hiei to make killing DMeta and DKali easier. Those Devil Killer latents are leftover from previous trial run in A5.

All in all, it's pretty satisfying to be able to clear AA using Nergigante and it shows that Nergigante is still a strong leader. Yes he doesn't have 4x HP and won't utilize Kuroyuri loop efficiently but he's still a strong lead.

For you who has decent Dark subs for him, try him out and see for yourself how strong he is as a leader.

Female Hunter, Valkyrie-CIEL gear takes on Alt. Ultimate Arena - Alt. Bipolar Goddess

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

Ever since I got her, I've been dying to try her in Alt. Ultimate Arena - Alt. Bipolar Goddess (AA1). Why not Alt. Three Hands of Fate (AA2)? Well, with double Hunter CIEL lead, the team won't have any survivability in long and tough dungeons such as Alt. Arena and I had to pair her with Valkyrie-CIEL to have some survivability. Having monstrous RCV won't help her team to take some hits and since she only boosts Healer type, much like Valkyrie-CIEL, a team with double Hunter CIEL lead won't have high HP. Healer just don't famous for their HP. The other reason I didn't try her in AA2 is that I lack Healer type with good VDP option to take some God or Devil type enemies. The Dragon Caller floor is quite easy with Ena and probably Amnel that are dangerous, and all Healer can equip Dragon Killer latents so the Dragon Caller floor isn't an issue. The problem lies in the Elemental King floor. I don't have any Healer type with VDP that can equip either God or Devil killer latents. In fact, I think there's only two cards that are Healer type, have VDP and able to equip God or Devil killer latents: Echidna-SARA and Zela.

Anyway... got some deaths in some stupid ways, but one thing I hate the most is getting multiple Devils with Light absorbs. This team with only 80k HP can't take multiple hits from two Devils, so if I'm seeing two or more Devils with Light absorbs that lasts more than 3 turns, I was ready to press the quit button lol.

At first I was using Libertas as an FUA option, because she has hazard resists, bind-proof (with Super Awakening), have quite big of HP and her skill is useful for either Hashihime or Hera-Beorc, but later on I switched my FUA option to Silica because her skill is much more useful in tight situation and her two Team HP+ awakenings gives slight boost in the HP department.

The run itself is more of a stall-fest. Many stalling mostly for Sakuya that carries Fujin to be up by the 12th Floor and I have to make sure either Yuna or Friend's CIEL with Puu assist comes up for Goemon in the next floor. Some stalling point is the Ogre's floor. If you keep one above 50% HP, they won't be a threat so you can stall as many turns as you can. The dangerous floor to stall is the Evo Masks floor. Both hit hard and if the team isn't at the upper range HP, both hits could end the run.

Thankfully, after te 12th Floor, the enemies are rather easy to deal with. Noah with her 75% damage reduction isn't a problem. I can stall and chip her HP off until her shield wears off, but I gotta make sure to kill her or she will kill my team instead. Then comes Raguel with 6 turns of awoken bind. Mind you that awoken bind isn't a problem for the team. RCV is high so the team is able to heal back to full (or almost) with only one set of Heal match. Oddly enough, I accidentally killed him while still carrying awoken bind. 2 turns left to be precise. Thankfully the next floor doesn't have multi-turn skill bind. Shiva is the next enemy. 99% gravity and 5 combo shield as preemptives. Not a problem, but skyfall Gods are having their own thoughts when I try to stall some turns by avoiding matching Light orbs. They made the team received some Light and other skyfall combo lol.

Moving on to the next floor, I got Ibaraki-Doji. The most problematic spawn in this floor is Hashihime but the team is prepared. I put Hakuryu Card on my Valkyrie-CIEL. Ibaraki-Doji is tough and tanky but his hit isn't dangerous. The only concern is when he puts up his damage void. Luckily I was able to defeat him before he puts up damage void.

The next enemy is Ilsix. Probaly the easiest spawn in this floor. Ninegaruda is a problem if you don't have enough Heal to make FUA or unlocking skills. Deightros and Sevenzard is tanky but the team is literally a Dragon Killer with almost all subs carrying Dragon Killer so this floor isn't a problem. I just have to stall some turns for shield but friend's CIEL Puu assist is up so there's no point in stalling. Kill Ilsix!

Thankfully Hera-Beorc didn't greet my team. It's Hera-Sowilo instead. 7 turns of awoken bind and she will binds random subs for 10 turns on her first turn. My Valkyrie-CIEL got bound :( After some stalling and be free from awoken bind, friend's CIEL is up so my CIEL can be free from bind. Yay!

I was praying to get Dark Metatron and Dark Kali for the next two floor. Even though Dark Metatron has passive 50% Light damage reduction, she doesn't have RCV debuff that Light Metatron has. As for Dark Kali, she is a God/Dragon type so the team won't break a sweat erasing her 800 million effective HP. Sheen enhance on my Hunter CIEL making sure my team was able to one shot both.

Monster Hunter Collab Rare Egg Machine Pulls

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

This post is about my pulls from the Monster Hunter Collab Rare Egg Machine. While this is an expensive machine at 10 Magic Stones per pull, people are excited that this collab is back and most of the 5-star cards are actually good for their weapon forms. The mediocre ones are actually those 6-star cards. Their Leader Skills are weird and the strong ones are kinda hard to activate such as Valphalk. 4 seconds of move time and matching all attributes are only for players who can match very fast. Not me LOL.

The 7-star cards are mostly good for a lead. Most notable and most desirable card is Fatalis. Very strong with 4x HP and easy requirement. Next one is Thunderlord Zinogre and Nergigante.

Anyway, my alt pulled some very nice cards such as Thunderlord Zinogre, two Akantor and Gore Magala. The first time MH Collab hits NA, it pulled Rathian, Barioth, Gammoth, Valphalk, Nargacuga, Legiana, Tigrex and Nergigante.

My main pulled some nice cards back then, with Brachydios being the only 7-star I got. Other pulls weren't that good such as multiple Tigrex, Valphalk, Astalos, Kirin and Paolumu, but this time around I managed to get two Rathian which I'm gunning for, two Nargacuga that makes a nice Blind Resist weapon, another Paolumu that I turned into weapon, Legiana that I will keep in base form for his triple Team HP+ awakenings, another Tigrex, Astalos and Mizutsune. Mizutsune is a very good RCV stick for any 4x HP leaders and with him being a Healer, he can be a very good sub or assist for Valkyrie CIEL.

Here's the video of my pulls. Enjoy!

Attempting S-Rank on Monster Hunter Collab dungeons with Valkyrie-CIEL

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

There's no leader best suited to attempting to get S-Rank in these Monster Hunter Collab dungeon other than Valkyrie-CIEL. First of all, she has HP multiplier making her able to run the Monster Hunter Collab 2 without any subs. Why would you need a sub for? Well, the first enemy in Monster Hunter Collab 2 dungeon, Paolumu, have a set of preemptive hits that binds random subs and hit you for 11,150 damage. If he can't find any subs to bind, he will hit you for 11,150 damage, making the team taking a total of 22,300 damage. It's first battle preemptives so you won't have any shield except for leader with HP conditional shield such as Servant, Saber or Edward Elric. Even with HP conditional shield, the two hits will put that team at less than 50% HP, making it doing less damage until its HP back to 50% or more.

Another advantage of Valkyrie-CIEL is that she has built in Dragon Killer, able to use Dragon Killer latents and have an option for more Dragon Killer with Super Awakening for a total of 30.375x personal damage against Dragon type enemies. Both Monster Hunter Collab dungeon have enemies that are all Dragon type so she will obliterates them with minimal effort.

The tricky part is when dealing with Diablos, the boss in Monster Hunter Collab. He has 90% resolve and there's no way to damage control with those killers. Fortunately, Diablos doesn't have dangerous moves when you leave him with 1 HP. He will throw a 3 turns skill bind then heals for 50% HP and puts up 75% damage reduction for 1 turn. His 75% damage reduction won't have any effect with Valkyrie-CIEL packing that many Dragon Killers, so you can safely pushed him to 1 HP, let him heals and bind your skills. As long as there's 3 Light orbs on board, she will kill him.

Monster Hunter Collab Quest - Solo & Multiplayer

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

Monster Hunter Collab finally hits PAD NA! Most of you have been waiting for this Collab to come back, and while it's one of the expensive machine at 10 Magic Stones per roll, almost all cards in the Collab are very useful. Even the 5* makes some of the finest assists in PAD such as Kralice Rapier with 3 poison resist, Lumu Smasher I with 3 Jammer resists and many more.

As always, we will get one free roll and another one when we completed all levels of Monster Hunter Quest for a total of 2 free roll from the machine.

The quest itself isn't that hard. There are 10 levels and each levels rewards us with one Magic Stone (sent straight to the inbox as soon as you clear the level) for a total of 10 Magic Stones. Level 1 through 5 let us to use whatever team we want while level 6 through 10 has to be done with fixed team of their choice, which is all Hunter team.

Mind you that all Hunters have Multi-boost awakenings so it's best to run this in Multiplayer mode to take advantage of the Multi-boost, and some Hunter even stated in their Leader Skill that it has to be played in Multiplayer in order to get additional stats or damage.

Level 1 through 5 is very easy. Enemies don't even have 1 million HP in level 5 so you can button them to save time. I'm using my standard coin farming team (for Weekend dungeon) consist of double Ganesha lead with Tengu, Orpharion and Vajrabhairava. Most important thing (or assists) are Deus Armor Plutus Card and Unnamed Blade.

Here's the team:

One push of a button from either Tengu or Orpharion will clear the level. It's that easy.

Move on to the next set of quest: Level 6 through 10.

Most players who are kinda new to the game won't get the chance to play the famous Blue Hunter (Male Hunter Mizutsune X Gear) in Multiplayer. Considered to be one of the best Multiplayer lead at that time, he now gets shifted by the powercreep as 182.25x at 10 combo doesn't that interesting anymore, but for some, he's still good Multiplayer lead especially if your choice is limited and what's more, everyone can have access to him.

For level 6 through 10, you'll be playing various Hunter lead with the same kind of 1-Battle-only dungeon for each level.

Level 6 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Rathalos X Gear. His Leader Skill is: "2x HP & 8x ATK when all sub-monsters are from Monster Hunter Collab"

No combo requirement, no type and attribute restriction. If your entire team are from Monster Hunter Collab, your team has 4x HP and 64x ATK from both leader. 64x seems low but remember that every Hunter have Multi-boost and Dragon Killer that makes them very strong against any Dragon type enemies.

Level 7 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Brachydios X Gear. His Leader Skill is "3x ATK & RCV when all subs from Monster Hunter Collab; 3x ATK when attacking with 2+ Light combo"

So this team has to attack with 2+ Light combo to deal significant damage. Just clear non Light orbs and save Light if you don't see at least 6 Light orbs on board.

Level 8 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Mizutsune X Gear. His Leader Skill is "ATK increases with 4+ combo up to 9x at 10 combo; 1.5x to all stats in Multiplayer Mode"

There you have it. If you play this leader in Solo, you will lose 2.25x to all stats and mostly, Blue Hunter team in Solo play doesn't have any survivability at all. The damage is lackluster too.

Level 9 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Female Hunter, Kirin X Gear. Her Leader Skill is "1.5x to all stats when all sub-monsters are from Monster Hunter Collab; 7x ATK with 7+ combo"

She needs 7 or more combo to get any damage at all. No damage control and 49x for pure combo lead is very low. People don't even considered to play her because Blue Hunter is much better.

Final level has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Demon X Gear. His Leader Skill is "4x ATK for each cross of 5 Wood or Dark orbs"

Personally, I hate this team because I'm bad at making crosses, but it has to be done that way so yeah there's no other way. Luckily the enemy doesn't have tons of HP and 256x ATK for two crosses and 5+ combo total (in Multiplayer) will finish the level. So all you have to do is save Wood and Dark orbs, make 2 crosses when you have 5 Wood and 5 Dark and try to get 5 combo in total. Even if you can't, there's still plenty chances to make another double crosses to finish the level.

All in all, the quest is quite easy with sweet rewards so this should be your main priority from this Collab.

Please leave a comment, good luck and have fun. See you next time!

Qilin Descended! - Fixed Helper with Valkyfire-CIEL and Madoo for Skill Up

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

We got new dungeon! It's Qilin Descended! What's unique (and kinda annoying) about this dungeon is that it comes with a fixed Friend Helper. You're stuck with using Reincarnated Haku as Helper. Why are they making this, you ask? Well, it's because it's a prologue (if you can say that) to a new Super Reincarnated Haku. Qilin is one Evolution Material needed to get Super Reincarnated Haku. What is Super Reincarnated? I thought Reincarnated is the end evolution of a Pantheon cards? Well, to make older pantheon cards useful again, they have to come up with some sort of new evolution line so they're going with Super Reincarnated.

To get a card to Super Reincarnated, it has to go through extensive process. One of them is getting the Evolution Materials, and the Reincarnated card has to be max level (just like evolving them from Awoken to Reincarnated). The bad news are:

  • They will lose Limit Break status since they are reset to Level 1.
  • They will also lose any Super Awakening already being done to them. This is annoying since getting the right Super Awakening is taxing heavily on your +points bank if you aren't lucky enough to get the right Super Awakening in one or two rolls
  • The amount of EXP needed to max level a Super Reincarnated card is 50 millions, then another 50 millions to get them to Lv.110
  • The Evo Mats needed is similar to evolving an MP Dragons back when we don't have Evo gems.

Here's what you need to evolve Super Reincarnated Haku:

  • 1x Rainbow Event Medal Gem
  • 1x Qilin Gem
  • 1x Jewel of Darkness
  • 1x Diamond Dragon Fruit
  • 1x Ancient Tri-God Mask

Now, to get Qilin Gem, you need to have base Qilin, then evolve her to her 2nd stage evo, that needs:

  • 1x Diamond Dragon Fruit
  • 1x Khepri Gem
  • 1x Mion Gem
  • 1x Noah Gem
  • 1x Fagan Gem

Mion is the most painful of them all to get. If that doesn't scare you, there's another evo line of Qilin if you want to, and it needs:

  • 1x Sacred Beast Seven-Star's Mirror (drops from her dungeon)
  • 1x Diamon Dragon Fruit
  • 1x Ancient Tri-God Mas
  • 1x Volsung Gem
  • 1x Sol & Mani Gem

But, enough about it, let's move on to the dungeon itself.

Since you're stuck with Haku Helper, you will lose out on ATK multiplier since Haku only has 4.5x although she does have constant 30% shield activated all the time. Luckily the enemies don't have a lot of HP (only the bosses do). All floor leading to the boss are God type so having God Killer subs can help your team. Mobs are Valentine version of the Chinese Gods (Leilan, Karin, Meimei, Sakuya, Haku and Fagan). The Valentine Chinese Girls can drop their on Jewel when defeated.

Best approach is to one shot all floor but if you can't, there's some places to stall. First floor is quite safe if your team has massive RCV. You don't want to stall on 2nd and 3rd floor. 2nd floor with swap your leader and 3rd floor has 6 turn skill delay. 4th floor is quite safe too especially if you have Cloud resist. Sakuya won't attack you until her 4th turn. She has 50% damage reduction though. 6th floor is also safe to stall a few turns if you need to get all skills needed to kill the boss up.

The boss itself doesn't have status shield. You need to kill the Mirror first so that Qilin be able to receive damage. She has immortal shield when the Mirror is still alive. You can use delay and take your time killing the Mirror if you want to. Having a Puu assist helps. The Mirror has 30 milions HP and 2 millions DEF and it has 50% damage reduction, making it has 60 millions HP and 4 millions DEF effectively. Put Puu assist on your hard hitting card, use enhance if needed. You can safely use multi turn enhance since Qilin won't erase your buff when she shattered her immortality shield.

My team to go is Valkyrie CIEL, with Orochi sub to delay the boss. Orochi isn't a Healer so he doesn't get high on the damage but I brought it solely for the delay.

Here's my team:

From left to right:

  • Valkyrie CIEL with Puu assist
  • Reincarnated Ishida Mitsunari with VDP Super Awakening, 3x Attacker Killer latents and Griffin Rider, Gilliam assist to fix Karin's board for more Wood orbs
  • Reincarnated Orochi to delay the boss
  • Reincarnated Isis with 7c Super Awakening, 2 Dragon Killer latents and Sheen assist for enhacne
  • Yuna with Valentine Karin assist and 3x Dragon Killer

Here's the run

It's not very smooth and had to stall on Sakuya (which is not needed) but overall the team is pretty solid and have consistent clear.

As to skilling up Qilin, well the dungeon is labeled "Solo" so there's no multiplayer. Best bet is to run the dungeon and bring Qilin on the team for potential skill up. The rate is pretty good at 7x and doing it on Mythical is as effective for skill up as Annihilation, so that's what I'm doing.

This is my team for skill up:

  • Madoo with Masamune Weapon (Attacker Killer) assist. You can use Kopis Weapon (it has Physical Killer)
  • Reincarnated Archangel Lucifer to bypass 2nd floor since it has annoying combo shield
  • No.6 with Puu assist
  • King Tyrannos with Puu assist
  • Qilin with Skill Boost awakenings unlocked so that Lucifer is up by the 2nd floor

New PAD MAIN Title Screen

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

What's that Zeus GIGA doing on top? LOL

Cloud City's Scarlet Blaze Challenge! Floor 9 &10

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

It's been a while since I made a post but unfortunately I've been blessed with a cold a couple days back so I can't do any PAD-related things at that moment. One thing I regret was that I couldn't completed the REMDra Fever ranking dungeon. I only managed to maxed my score out on one account before I hit by a cold. Hopefully you have better results than me.

Anyway, I'm good now and it's time to finish the Cloud City's Scarlet Blaze Challenge! Clear Every Floor with Different Lead.

9th Floor

This Floor got some nasty enemies but the most dangerous ones are Hinomitsuha at second Battle and Artemis at fifth Battle. Hinomitsuha has 15 turns of 20% poison skyfall and she starts her preemptives by delaying all of your skills by 3-5 turns. Bring Fenrir or Agydine to overwrite her poison skyfall. Those poison may clogged your board up.

As for Artemis, she has nasty preemptives sets. First off she will hit for 82,476 damage then bind your awoken skills by 5 turns. Make sure you have enough HP to tank the hit and able to recover awoken skills bind in time. Luckily she doesn't have status shield so you can delay her which is what I choose. I used Servant, Rider for this. She has nice skill: Delay, nuke and converts 10% of the damage dealt into HP.

One other thing to look up to is that you may need a tape resist for Betelgeuse in Battle 4. He will seals the left column for 5 turns and if you decided to stall out the seal, it could get dangerous especially if your board is clogged with many poisons.

The boss is Awoken Ares who has 100 millions HP and voids damage of 5 millions or more while having a 7 combo shield. If you don't VDP, when hitting 8 combo, most likely all of your attacks will be nulled. Having a +combo skill when doing VDP can help a lot.

Here's the run

Top Floor

The top floor is a heavily reinforced version of Athena Descended but instead of regular Athena, the boss is Athena Helios. All enemies leading to the boss are the same as Athena Descended but they have way more HP and DEF. Gigas has almost 50 millions HP and will execute you on his 4th turn. Cu Chulain has 18 millions HP and 30 millions DEF. Very tough, so if you can't break 30 millions damage, bring a Defense Break to make your run easier or equip your hard hitting card with Balance Killer. I was forced to quit the dungeon the first time around because I can't break his DEF and it would go on forever with my team only dealing 1 damage each time if I stubbornly continue.

Siegfried has 83 millions HP and 75% damage reduction for 4 turns, but he won't attack you if you keep him at full HP for the first 4 turns so you can just swap an orb until his shield expired then hit him hard. Even if you can't one shot, he will gives you another free turn by buffing himself when he dropped to <99% HP.

Before the boss floor there is a unique appearance of Red Carbuncle. It looks surprised to see an adventurer, giving you 25% of Heart skyfall for 10 turns then calling Athena Helios before self destruct.

The Boss is Athena Helios with 480 millions HP and voids damage of 35 millions or more. My plan was to use Masamune Weapon to turn Ishida Mitsunari into Water att, then use tri-color board change from Valentine Karin to make VDP. I put three Attacker Killer on Ishida Mitsunari and VDP Super Awakening so he will have 20.25x personal multiplier against Athena Helios and with Arcline's enhance he should be able to erase Athena Helios by himself. But my plan goes down the drain when Valentine Karin's board only gave me 8 Water orbs. Not enough to make VDP, so I save Arcline for the last kill and fight Athena Helios normally without making VDP. Luckily she has quite big margin for damage void at 35 millions. I was afraid that when I use Arcline I got so many skyfall I was sure the damage from both CIEL are voided but all the other attacks went through and she was defeated.

She will drop as Awoken Athena that you can evolve to Athena's Ultimate Evolution, max level her then perform Reincarnated Evolution to Athena Helios. After that you can do Ultimate Evolution to make Guardian Deity of the Sky City, Athena Helios. She is nice sub with Dragon and Healer Killer, some Fire OE and multiple TPA. Her Leader Skill is stronger than Dark Athena but without HP multiplier. You got RCV multiplier when matching Fire and Light though. I'm gonna make my second Athena Helios with this one. I could give her a different killer latents. My first Athena Helios has triple Healer Killer and perhaps there's a use for Athena Helios with Devil, Machine or Physical killer latents.

Here's the run:

New GFE, 100 free Magic Stones and more importantly, weapon equip for Jewel Princesses!

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

If you missed it, GungHo NA has announced that we will get 100 magic stones as part of the new GFE event just like JP had. We will also can choose one new GFE from three new GFE introduced: Hera- LUNA, Echidna-SARA and Ancient Dragon Knight-REX. Just like the GFE event with Athena-NON, Valkyrie-CIEL and Zeus-GIGA, there's one medal that will be handed out to each player where they can exchange the medal for one GFE (of three) of their choosen.

This is great since many players seems to complaining about it, but personally, all the complaining is a little bit boring. If they decided to give you the same as JP, it's great but even if it's not, you're not a loyal player of the game if you quit just because they treated you a little differently.

Anyway... we just got a new game data download and as expected, there are arts for the new GFE (LUNA, SARA and REX) and some more. What are they?

New batch of Mega Awoken GFE

Who's excited about Awoken Ilm? Well, aside from the fact that she's a great Light Dragon Killer VDP, her leader skills isn't that great. You'd need to use a skill every turn to get the 6x ATK. It'd be great if PAD NA has access to Light Bastet but alas, we don't so the option is to use either Tardis, Halooween Myne or Super Gunma. They're all not fit to be in the Mega Awoken Ilm team because Tardis isn't a Devil, Halloween Myne is a Devil but she has no synergy whatsoever with the team and Super Gunma is also not a Devil type. I can see many players just use Mega Ilm as sub rather than lead.

Mega Awoken Dantalion has 196x ATK multiplier and double built in shield activation for a total of 68.35% damage reduction when you successfully activating both conditions. It's a little bit tough with one clause needed you to achieve 7+ combo while the other clause is to match two Heal combo. With double damage reduction, your team HP would be amplified by a lot. If you have, say, a Mega Dantalion team with 50,000 HP, when you activated both shield, it's like you have a team with 158,000 HP! Crazy, right? His damage isn't a joke either. Two 7c awakenings and you have to achieve 7+ combo for max multiplier and damage reduction anyway. He has no built in Time Extend so you might want to bring TE sticks on the team such as Roy Mustang, Planar, Reincarnated Raphael, Indra, Tsukuyomi and the likes. Dantalion doesn't care about typing or color so anything goes in his team.

Mega Awoken Paimon for me is interesting just because of his >50% damage reduction (similar to Edward Elric or Hiei). He doesn't offer anything much in the damage department that any other color cross leads could offer. We're all knew color cross leaders are the only leaders capable of hitting damage cap without an enhance. Mega Dantalion would be great on a team relies on high HP such as Tohsaka Rin and Edward Elric.

Mega Awoken Typhon is the most interesting of the bunch. He is so great that you only need to match four Heal orbs to get the damage reduction. He also buffs Dragon type with 2x HP and we all know that most high HP cards found in PAD are mostly dragon. You got Hexazeon, Nees, Amatsu, Orochi, Indra etc. Since Typhon is Dark, you might want to fill his team with mono Dark team. Mega Typhon only has 12x ATK multiplier all by himself (144x for double Typhon leader) but that doesn't prevent him to achieve big damage by stuffing his team with double or triple 7c Dragon such as Ney, Cotton, Kulia, Nees or Okuninushi. His easiness to get the damage reduction on top of having 4x HP for double Typhon leader makes him easy to stall. He also only needs 6+ combo to achieve 6x ATK which is quite easy. Definitely the best of current Mega Awoken Evolution.

Now, equip assist for Jewel Princesses. Many of you knew that Jewel Princesses are the only great 2-turns enhance for almost any team although the popular ones are only Carat, Facet and Sheen since they enhance your damage based on many awakenings found on the most team. Carat enhances your damage based on the amount of Skill Boost, Facet based on the amount of TPA and Sheen based on the amount of Time Extend awakenings found on your team. Those enhance also being used as an assist. They never get used as a sub, so when you get an equip assist for card like that, it's truly a blessing. One can argue that their equip awakenings sucks, they should put their original buff in bla bla bla. Well, if you look at it, a Skill Boost equip only happened on high end card or expensive card bought with Monster Points so it won't happened to "regular", worth-5000 Monster Points cards. They're all share similar awakenings: HP+ (increases assisted card's HP by 500), RCV+ (increases assisted card's RCV by 200) and one resist awakenings according to their color. You got Fire resist for silk, Water resist for Carat, Wood resist for Cameo, Light resist for Facet and Dark resist for Sheen.

For Dark/Black Event Medal, it was first introduced in JP as part of an event where you can exchange five Dark Event Medal for one Zela. Yes, they can have Zela for free, but the price is steep. To get one Dark Event Medal, you have to exchange five Rainbow Event Medal, and you need five Dark Event Medal so you'd need to exchange a total of 25 Rainbow Event Medal for one Zela. Starts saving those Rainbow Medal, guys... who knows that we might get the same event. For players lacking a Zela, Zela is an awesome Wood subs with her triple 7c, FUA and VDP. All-in-one great package.

New GFE

Echidna-SARA

Ancient Dragon Knight-REX

Hera-LUNA

Who's gonna be your pick?

Echidna-SARA can be a great VDP option for Fire teams while the other forms acts like a Fire Aten with plethora of Killer Awakenings.

Ancient Dragon Knight-REX has two TPA and two 7c on her second evo while the first evo can have four TPA.

Hera-LUNA is a double-edged sword. One evo has >80% HP while the other evo has <50% HP awakenings. Three of them.

ATK multiplier-wise, I don't know why they give SARA the most ATK multiplier with 182.25x while LUNA only receives 64x???

Greco Roman Gods 3 Ultimate Evolutions

Hestia

Tethys

Cronus

Astraea (she's riding a bike!)

Uranus

They finally fixed the awkward Leader Skill on Greco Roman Gods 3. No more gimped subs, instead they made them all have similar condition to activating their Leader Skills. "ATK xTimes when erasing 6+ connected orbs, ATK xTimes and 50% damage reduction when attacking with their board color (Fire/Wood/Light for Hestia, Water/Wood/Dark for Tethys, Wood/Light/Dark for Cronus, Fire/Water/Light for Astraea and Fire/Water/Dark for Uranus. 50% damage reduction is huge.

Well, that's pretty much the updates we got for the moment. Some are exciting and some are meh.

Please leave a comment, good luck and have fun. See you next time!
