Monster Hunter Collab Quest - Solo & Multiplayer

Greeting, fellow PAD players!

Monster Hunter Collab finally hits PAD NA! Most of you have been waiting for this Collab to come back, and while it's one of the expensive machine at 10 Magic Stones per roll, almost all cards in the Collab are very useful. Even the 5* makes some of the finest assists in PAD such as Kralice Rapier with 3 poison resist, Lumu Smasher I with 3 Jammer resists and many more.

As always, we will get one free roll and another one when we completed all levels of Monster Hunter Quest for a total of 2 free roll from the machine.

The quest itself isn't that hard. There are 10 levels and each levels rewards us with one Magic Stone (sent straight to the inbox as soon as you clear the level) for a total of 10 Magic Stones. Level 1 through 5 let us to use whatever team we want while level 6 through 10 has to be done with fixed team of their choice, which is all Hunter team.

Mind you that all Hunters have Multi-boost awakenings so it's best to run this in Multiplayer mode to take advantage of the Multi-boost, and some Hunter even stated in their Leader Skill that it has to be played in Multiplayer in order to get additional stats or damage.

Level 1 through 5 is very easy. Enemies don't even have 1 million HP in level 5 so you can button them to save time. I'm using my standard coin farming team (for Weekend dungeon) consist of double Ganesha lead with Tengu, Orpharion and Vajrabhairava. Most important thing (or assists) are Deus Armor Plutus Card and Unnamed Blade.

Here's the team:

One push of a button from either Tengu or Orpharion will clear the level. It's that easy.

Move on to the next set of quest: Level 6 through 10.

Most players who are kinda new to the game won't get the chance to play the famous Blue Hunter (Male Hunter Mizutsune X Gear) in Multiplayer. Considered to be one of the best Multiplayer lead at that time, he now gets shifted by the powercreep as 182.25x at 10 combo doesn't that interesting anymore, but for some, he's still good Multiplayer lead especially if your choice is limited and what's more, everyone can have access to him.

For level 6 through 10, you'll be playing various Hunter lead with the same kind of 1-Battle-only dungeon for each level.

Level 6 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Rathalos X Gear. His Leader Skill is: "2x HP & 8x ATK when all sub-monsters are from Monster Hunter Collab"

No combo requirement, no type and attribute restriction. If your entire team are from Monster Hunter Collab, your team has 4x HP and 64x ATK from both leader. 64x seems low but remember that every Hunter have Multi-boost and Dragon Killer that makes them very strong against any Dragon type enemies.

Level 7 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Brachydios X Gear. His Leader Skill is "3x ATK & RCV when all subs from Monster Hunter Collab; 3x ATK when attacking with 2+ Light combo"

So this team has to attack with 2+ Light combo to deal significant damage. Just clear non Light orbs and save Light if you don't see at least 6 Light orbs on board.

Level 8 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Mizutsune X Gear. His Leader Skill is "ATK increases with 4+ combo up to 9x at 10 combo; 1.5x to all stats in Multiplayer Mode"

There you have it. If you play this leader in Solo, you will lose 2.25x to all stats and mostly, Blue Hunter team in Solo play doesn't have any survivability at all. The damage is lackluster too.

Level 9 has to be played with this team:

Leader is Female Hunter, Kirin X Gear. Her Leader Skill is "1.5x to all stats when all sub-monsters are from Monster Hunter Collab; 7x ATK with 7+ combo"

She needs 7 or more combo to get any damage at all. No damage control and 49x for pure combo lead is very low. People don't even considered to play her because Blue Hunter is much better.

Final level has to be played with this team:

Leader is Male Hunter, Demon X Gear. His Leader Skill is "4x ATK for each cross of 5 Wood or Dark orbs"

Personally, I hate this team because I'm bad at making crosses, but it has to be done that way so yeah there's no other way. Luckily the enemy doesn't have tons of HP and 256x ATK for two crosses and 5+ combo total (in Multiplayer) will finish the level. So all you have to do is save Wood and Dark orbs, make 2 crosses when you have 5 Wood and 5 Dark and try to get 5 combo in total. Even if you can't, there's still plenty chances to make another double crosses to finish the level.

All in all, the quest is quite easy with sweet rewards so this should be your main priority from this Collab.

Please leave a comment, good luck and have fun. See you next time!
