Fixed Leader & Helper Challenge! Part 1 Featuring Libertas

Starting today we're getting sets of challenges featuring fixed leader and helper. We're free to use our own subs and assist or equips but the leader and helper are fixed and none of them has any latents nor equip/assist.

For the first challenge, we have to use Libertas as leader and helper. Libertas Leader Skill is "6x ATK with 5+ linked heal orbs, 3x ATK & reduces damage when 3+ attributes attack at once"

She doesn't have any type or attribute restriction when it comes to team building, so it's great. You can have any type or attribute as subs, but remember that she needs 5+ heal and 3+ attribute match each turn to fully activate her Leader Skill.

The dungeon itself is pretty interesting. They made us use Libertas for a reason. It's her 5+ heal match clause. Most of the enemies have resolve. So, how to get steady supply of heal orbs? Well, for first battle, you gotta have subs that makes heal orbs ready just in case you got orb trolled and not enough heal orbs for 5+ match.

For this dungeon, you will need to have at least full blind and jammer resist to make it easier. You will also need tape resist if you don't want to stall for 5 turns then deal with Pollux's damage absorbs after that.

The first enemy is Zhou Yu. He has resolve but he's actually pretty easy. His first turn move will always deal some damage and put up status shield. You can blast him to 1 HP without having to worry about his execution hit.

The second enemy is Reincarnated Verche. He makes heal orb skyfall for 5 turns. That should get us steady supply of heal orbs. Verche doesn't have resolve and he's pretty weak I think.

Third enemy is Evil Ceres, who also has resolve and a 6 combo shield. There's no way around except making 7+ combo with FUA.

Fourth enemy is Ares. He has resolve and will hit you for some damage while making jammers in the middle row. This is why it's important to have full jammer resist. Ares can erase heal orbs if they are in the middle row and you won't activate Libertas Leader Skill.

Fifth enemy is Pollux. He will put a tape on the top row for 5 turns while absorbing Water and Dark damage for 5 turns. If you resist the tape, you can use Libertas and defeat him. Make sure that you have enough heal orbs and 3+ attributes before wasting Libertas skill. Since Libertas also has water skyfall for 3 turns, her skill will erases heal orb skyfall from Verche (if you still got it entering Pollux's floor), so be aware. You might not get enough heal orbs for the next battle. Prepare your heal maker ready.

Sixth enemy is actually the boss: Awoken Machine Goemon. He has 48k damage preemptive hit. Make sure you can soak that damage else you're done for. Machine Goemon is slightly nerved compared to his own dungeon, but still got the same skill sets. He has resolve and will absorbs water damage for 10 turns as preemptives, along with that 48k damage hit and hides all orbs. Use Libertas and make sure you have 5+ heal orbs and some water to attack. If your team has one damage dealer, he should be pretty easy since you probably will use mono water team so your team will does twice damage on Machine Goemon because of attribute advantage.

As for my team, I use the following team:

  • First sub is Reincarnated Isis, 7c super awakening, two dragon killer latents, Kralice Rapier equip. Isis has double 7c, quick shield active skill at 3 turn CD.
  • Second sub is Beach Fujin, 7c super awakening, one devil killer latent, pixel paladin cecil's crystal equip. She is my main damage dealer on this team.
  • Third sub is Reincarnated Tsukuyomi, L-Unlock super awakening, Avidya Saber equip. I use Reincarnated Tsukuyomi in case I have to erase any locked orb skyfall but turns out there's none. Still nice having Tsukuyomi with his fingers and nice skill.
  • Last sub is Aerith, time extend super awakening, Trojan horse equip. She is my way of getting steady supply of heal orbs because her skill makes heal skyfall for 1 turn and I can use her every turn because of her 1 turn CD skill. She also has three Team HP+ awakening to boosts my team's HP.

I ran this blind to make it interesting so I don't have any tape resist but I got all hazards and blind covered. I had to stall Pollux's tape for 5 turns. He puts up damage absorb shield after that but my BluJin is ready to blast him. Every other enemies are pretty easy, even Machine Goemon as long as you can activate Libertas leader skill.

Good luck and have fun. See you next time!
